About
One of London's most visually stunning restaurants, with food to match. The decor features a forty-foot waterfall, grand staircase, domed skylight, and exotic plants and flowers. The food focuses on the former French colonies of India, and there are eight specialist chefs in the kitchen to make sure each of the regional cuisines ring true. We recommend the house Thalis, sampler portions of main dishes, for the first visits, and the Nilgiri Machi, which is the sort of curried monkfish, anytime. There is a seperate vegetarian menu, long wine list, and do try the freshly-made watermelon juice when in season. Lunches are all business, but evenings are for relaxing and enjoying great food and opulent decor.
There are 2 rooms available for private hire with seating from 14 to 50 people. Any kind of entertainment can be laid on by request as well as live jazz on Sundays, magicians, dancers, Melindi artistes. There is a choice of a la carte, set menus, buffets and canapes as appropriate.
