Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Tamarind is always superb. The chic, gold-accented dining room is elegant, yet comfortable and has a welcoming atmosphere. The food is simply stunning. Chef Alfred Prasad is renowned for his originality and his sumptuous seasonal menus put a fabulous, modern spin on traditional Southern and North-West Indian cuisine: spicy seafood dishes, curries, kebabs, - you’ll be spoiled for choice! Highlights are juicy, spicy Tiger prawns tossed with onions, tomatoes and green chillies; sweet, fragrant lamb cutlets marinated in paw-paw, garlic and star anise; and moreish chicken marinated in yoghurt with paprika and cinnamon. The Naan bread is divine. Staff are warm and professional and are happy to advise on the dishes, as is knowledgeable Sommelier Illario Terranova. A must if you love Indian food, and a must if you don’t – you’ll be converted!

A credit card is required to secure a reservation, if there is availability for bookings of 6 or more - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. Late cancellations (within 12 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of £10 per person
