A small chain of restaurants with branches in Battersea, The Oval, Embankment and Putney. The Lavender aims to provide good value food and wine in an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. The decor is warm and informal with a rustic feel-mix and matching chairs and tables give it a homely feel. The blackboard menu changes twice daily and includes a range of modern european and eclectic dishes.What's cooking? The menu's change daily, but might include dishes such as roast fennel, mushroom and tarragon soup with buttered croutons, pan-fried black pudding with thyme potato rosti.
