The decor is smart, but casually so, with sports screens, background music and a bubbling, party-like atmosphere. This is the sort of place where you can walk in with one mate and leave with ten. The fresh, well-presented gastropub menu features 'Little Eats' of wok-shocked egg noodles with lemon grass and ginger duck, 'Bigger Eats' of toasted risotto of baby zucchini, peas, spinach, mint & goats cheese, and 'Sweeters' of banana a pistachio semifreddo. Tempting cocktails and very drinkable wines.

Perfectly situated for gathering friends or colleagues from many areas, The Camel is a friendly, relaxed, down-to-earth gastropub with a gregarious ambience. You could book a relaxed work event, a birthday celebration, a stag or hen, or holiday event and savour the memory for years. The Oasis Bar accommodates up to 150 standing (nb: until 10 pm only) and the dining room will happily seat up to 10 in a group. The menu includes 'Little Eats' of penne with Mediterranean veg with shaved parmesan, 'Big Eats' of herb and garlic BBQ chicken with tomato ratatouille, and 'Sweeters' of Jay's hot chocolate brownie with white chocolate sauce. Drinks menu includes the classic and the silly. Both are good.
