Hara is a wow. The decor is sleek and shiny, light and airy. There's a very cool circular style-bar where you can open your senses to new taste sensations (lychee and cardamom martini, anyone?) and a smart, low-key dining room set with white linen. Both are abuzz with City and South Bank crowds. Hara's Indian menu is focussed on fresh, light, clear flavours, really Indian fine dining, featuring dishes like starter of tandoori-grilled salmon dill bahar, main course of Hara's own take on chicken tikka with a side of rather special dah makhani. The service is particularly excellent here and, in order to fully enjoy the flavours, the entire restaurant is non-smoking.

The overall ambience is smart and stylish, with modern lines throughout, from the shiny curving bar to the cool lighting in the well-set dining room. Hara's could happily host your office party, team triumph, birthday, hen or stag with real panache. The bar can accommodate up to 200 for a drinks and canapes sort of do, while the main restaurant will seat your group of up to 80 for sit-down meals. The menu is ambitious, modern Indian. Dishes could include starter of raspberry tikki with goat cheese, main course of mixed seafood with moilee sauce and tamarind extract. Sides and service are divine, and you can enjoy clear air as Hara is non-smoking throughout.
