Cocoon is cool. Unique among Regent Street’s restaurants, it is a series of six gloriously glamorous spherical dining rooms, sushi bars, and a luxurious lounge designed by Stephane Dupoux, whose triumphs include NYC’s boutique nightclub Cielo, and Pearl, the champagne lounge on Miami’s Ocean Drive. It feels like another world. A fashionable Pan-Asian, the menu mixes sushi and sashimi with dim sum and wok-fries. Signature dishes include wasabi prawns or Australian wagyu beef served with eryngii mushrooms, foie gras, and fresh wasabi. Top of the fab sushi selection are spider rolls with crispy soft shell crab, cucumber, rocket and tobiko caviar. Also not to miss is the fantastic selection of Dim Sum menus - with a choice of meat, seafood, vegetarian, steamed or fried you can't go wrong! Cocoon also dishes up five differing menus for lunch and pre-theatre; go for Japanese, Dim Sum, mouth-watering vegetarian or try the true Asian experience with sashimi, dim sum and wok dishes. Food is placed at the centre of the round table to encourage everyone to share. Less a restaurant than an experience.

Book the private dining room in August and the minimum spend will be reduced! For all bookings in August the minimum spend is only £600. Max group size: 14

Cocoon’s uber-groovy main dining area with its round Perspex tables and pod chairs accommodates smart get-togethers, business lunches and events of up to 165. The low-lit lounge adjacent to the stunning central bar fits 35 on comfortable banquet seating, while the sushi bar suits groups of up to 6. The Butterfly Cocoon is a private dining area with fantastic views (and disabled access) for eight to 14. Exclusive hire would allow you to wine and dine 200 seated guests, 350 reception-style. Full set of menu options. Fashionable wine list, luxury cocktails and an impressive sake collection. Valet parking available. Entrance off Air Street. Open seven days a week.

A credit card is required to secure a reservation for groups of 6 persons or more, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of £20 per person
