Tiffinbites Canary Wharf is where ancient tradition meets 21st Century. Inspired by the famous lunch boxes delivered by dabbah wallahs to hundreds of thousands of people in Mumbai every day, Tiffinbites has sourced the finest recipes from around the world, introducing an a la carte menu (available exclusively at the Canary Warf restaurant), a summer lunch menu. Don’t leave without trying favourites such as Pakistan’s nihari, tamatar gosht (spring lamb cooked in fresh plum tomatoes and delicately spiced) and more famous dishes such as chicken biryani (with their secret rice!) and Tandoori King Prawns. Vegetarian’s are very well catered for, as are children. Health conscious customers will also be happy as all tiffinboxes have no food colouring, less than 5% fat, are GM free and hand-cooked. They have even gone to the trouble of designing a fantastic range of cocktails to accompany the delicate flavours of the dishes. Open for all day.

Tiffinbites Canary Wharf has 140 seats, a full bar, and a takeaway service. Half the restaurant is 'outside' in the brightly-lit main shopping centre, an area you can book for around 60 guests. Your party can eat a la carte or from a set menu. Popular drinks choices are Suraba, a relatively rare high-alcohol, low-sugar Indian beer and the less potent mango lassis. Business facilities stretch to an ISDN line, wi-fi, projection screen, TV/video and sound system. Air-conditioned. Open seven days a week. Family-friendly, especially at weekends when the City workers have gone home, and the locals come out to play.
