Picture the scene: you're sat on the terrace of a beautiful Georgian mansion; the sun's warm on your face as you gaze across the verdant parkland stretching out before you; a wonderful meal is on its way to your table…Welcome to summertime at Beauberry House restaurant at the divinely lovely Belair Mansion. As you enter, to the right is a dusky bar; to the left an airy dining room dotted with good-looking staff in grey. The non-classic French menu is full of delicious surprises – amazingly tender rabbit with Swiss chard and mustard cream… slow-cooked fillet of cod with seaweed tartar… The chocolate fondant is heaven. Best times to go are Wednesday nights and Thursdays when the kitchen is freshly stocked with produce from the world's biggest fresh food market, Rungis, near Paris.

Beauberry House is a sensual treat: take your friends/family/colleagues there, chances are they'll love 'til at least next week. The restaurant has 85 covers. A further 45 can enjoy themselves on the two terraces overlooking the park. For privacy, there's a beautifully decorated function room upstairs for up to 50 seated, 80 standing. Not only is it blessed with Georgian windows, but its own terrace too. Particularly popular as the venue for wedding receptions, Beauberry House can – thanks to the gorgeous grounds – cater for up to 600 guests. Full range of menus, from a la carte to children's. The modern bar (with fire place) is the ideal spot for easy drinks, especially Burgundy wines - the house speciality. Facilities include a projection screen and dance floor.

A credit card is required to secure a reservation for groups of 5 persons or more, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. Late cancellations (within 48 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of £10 per person
