Abiba Cuisine brings you the ambience of a classy European restaurant with a Mediterranean flavour. Serving, it claims, "the finest European cuisine" and judging by its fast-growing reputation for quality breakfasts and good value lunches and dinners, this claim is arguably justified. Ideally located between Notting Hill Gate and Bayswater, it’s minutes from Whiteley’s Shopping Centre, UCI cinemas and close to Hyde Park. Stop in for a traditional English breakfast in the morning or pop in for a lunch of pizza, pasta, jacket potatoes or salads. Don't miss their outstanding Sunday roast with Yorkshire puddings. Dinner is expertly created and presented on square plates. We particularly like the Lobster Cappuccino and the sweet roasted duck breast served with a William pear cooked in honey and thyme sauce. The Lebanese mixed grill is well worth sampling too. All ingredients are only the finest and freshest you can find. Halal and vegetarians are also catered for. Lebanese himself, and father of four, Adib the owner makes every effort to welcome families; bring the kids. They'll love it.

Abiba was licensed for a hundred diners but has been redesigned to hold 60, so that no one feels crammed in. Forty people can dine comfortably in the main restaurant; the remaining 20 up the pale stairs in the upper area. Four people can sit outside on Westbourne Grove, weather permitting. Menu options are: a la carte, reduced a la carte and set. You’re also offered a children’s menu. Abiba is nothing if not family-friendly. As well as high chairs, there’s a play area at the back created to keep the young uns happy while the oldies eat. Top choice for family get-togethers, Christmas dos and birthday parties. Vegetarians catered for. You can bring your own entertainment. Open seven days a week.

A credit card is required to secure a reservation for groups of 5 persons or more, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of £10 per person
