Utsav is as much a place of style as substance; blue lights flood the ultra modern ground floor main dining room. Not that you'll be feeling remotely blue once the intense flavours of regional Indian delicacies start enlivening your palate. Executive chef Seetharama Devadiga and his team of master chefs take you ona gourmet journey of India's four main cuisine regions - the North, South, East and West. Every dish is characterised by robust aromas, earthy flavours and impressive colours, especially the ever-so-tender lamb khorma, and the mildly spicy Goan prawn balchao. Due to popular demand, the vegetarian menu has grown - one more reason that makes Utsav is a discovery worth celebrating.

Whether a casual cocktail reception or a formal sit down dinner party, Utsav can accommodate your needs in a manner that will impress your guests. Party menus start at £22; you're welcome to sample any and/or customise your selection. Of the three private rooms, the blue-lit Ganges Suite at the back of the main restaurant is probably the most intimate. The elegant Mogul Suite has a large bay window overlooking Kensington Gardens; sit and watch the world go by. Meanwhile the Raga Suite is perfect for music parties. Hidden away on the lower level, it has its own bar, and is the perfect place to boogie.
