With a quick lunch service, a leisurely pace in the evening, high quality modern British cooking, a conservatory to lure you inside on cool days, and garden seating to lure you out on warm ones, Konnigans is the kind of has-it-all restaurant you wish you had in your own neighbourhood. Here, the customer is at all times put first; so sit back, relax and let the warm, friendly service do the work for you. Apart from the eating part, of course. Head chef Kingsley Rockson's signature dish is a fine fillet of pork stuffed with gruyere and sunblushed tomatoes wrapped in bacon, accompanied by venison sausages, and juicy spinach. The menu changes bi-weekly, so there are always new wonders to try the next time you visit. A great value restaurant.

Konnigans suits cosy meals with close family and friends. Birthdays, leaving dos, Christmas parties... all events are catered for with warmth. It has 75 covers, so if your group is around that size, opt for an exclusive hire. Otherwise, you can book the back room for parties of 10 to 14 seated, or 20 to 35 for a reception. There are 20 seats outside too. Menu options include a la crate, set, and child's, although naturally bespoke menus are also available.

This restaurant requires a credit card to secure a reservation for groups of 8 persons or more- this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. Late cancellations (within 48 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of £50.
