Named after Sitric, last king of Dublin, King Sitric's menu offers an inspired fusion of international and modern Irish cuisine - the focus is very much on using premium seasonal produce to capture the flavours of the season. The dining room itself features modern artworks teamed with Art Deco influenced styling. Try a starter of Cashel Blue and potato brûllé with peppercorn and parmesan biscuits, followed by a favourite main course of braised County Wicklow lamb shank with colcannon and rosemary gravy, and a pud of Guinness Ice cream with Jameson & chocolate sauce. The ever changing 'menu rapide' offers exceptional value - £15.95 for two courses and £19.50 for three courses. At the other tables you'll find local residents, hotel guests and business clients who clearly know a good thing when they see it.

Set in the Crown Moran Hotel, King Sitric makes full use not only of a high-end kitchen, but also delivers that high standards of hospitality that only a four star hotel can provide. The restaurant itself is smart without being buttoned-up, more Irish than English, really. And the ambience is relaxed and friendly. Additionally, there is a stunning period private room, the Sala Room, which seats up to 100, as well as three smaller private rooms, the Barnet Room, Camden Room and Brent Room, seating up to 60, 12, and 10 respectively. All kinds of menus - from buffets to banquets - are available to meet your requirements. As for food, try the starter of traditional smoked salmon with Irish soda bread, main course of Stilton-crusted beef fillet with rosti, red onion tart and béarnaise, and a pud of hazelnut sponge pudding with macadamia nut sauce.
