Think big Australian flavours, big American portions, and big fun and relaxation of any nationality - the Outback Steakhouse has all this in spades. It's the right place for the family or a gang of mates or any casual group that would enjoy the generous spirit of the place. The decor is rustic and makes you think of everything Australian from boomerangs to kangaroos. The drinks are designed to get conversation flowing. The dishes have cute names, like starter of Kookaburra Wings, a terrific Aussie styleBuffalo wing, or Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp. Reckon! There are huge salads, grills from the barbie, terrific steaks, and a Little Joey menu for kids. Our favourite pudding is Chocolate Thunder From Down Under, although Apple Cinnamon Oblivion has its fans. Dine here and you'll want to go bush.

The Outback Steakhouse is already almost a party venue just on its own, so it's perfect for a group that's casual, relaxed, and ready for fun. There are no private rooms as such, but private-ish areas can accommodate your crowd without missing the buzz of the main dining room, right on up to groups of 100! The menu is big, generous Aussie-style eating, with terrific selections of adorably-named dishes like Bloomin Onion, Walkabout Soup, Botany Bay Fish O' the Day, and, we like this a lot, Cheesecake Olivia, named after her revered songstressness. The drinks menu is great, both chockers with favourites and full of new and tempting concoctions. We'd choose this for team dinners, workmate do's, megabirthdays, and indoor barbies.
