When you think of the Savoy, with its world-class location, history and service, you think of high Edwardian elegance, and the Patience and Princess Ida rooms are beautiful examples of that era. With lovely views over the Thames, the twinned rooms have been restored and feature creamy panelled with gilt details, two fireplaces, original paintings, and antique mahoganyfurniture. The rooms are a striking setting for private meals, small parties, select drinks parties, and meetings and presentations. The rooms accommodate up to 30 seated or up to 60 standing. The Savoy's own team will work with you to ensure that every detail is right so that you canconcentrate on the enjoyment of your colleagues or guests. Superchef Georg Fuchs is Maitre Chef des Cuisines, who devises spectacular menus. Dishes may include starter of warm salad of lemon sole fillet with a tomato and tarragon dip, main course of fillet of lamb in a puff pastry crust with roast potatoes and spinach puree glazed with cheese, followed by pudding ofred wine poached pear gratinated with burnt orange ice cream, the Savoy's own blend of coffee and perfect petit fours. The wine selection and service couldn't be bettered.
