A true family affair, this is a modern, sophisticated restaurant designed to satisfy the more refined personality. Dominated by seriously white walls contrasting with dark brown leather furniture, the décor achieves minimalism and elegance in equal measures. Tending to the affluent clientele, many of whom have followed his highly-experienced head-chef father, Raymond, here from the Garrick Club and the Ritz, is the charming manager Tom Patterson. Actors, judges, businessmen, publishers... these professionals know quality when they order it. And ordering from the seasonal Modern British menu theyare, especially the Dover sole with lobster tortellini with Champagne sauce. By this time next year the talented team hope to have won a Michelin star. Judging by the Patterson's past accomplishments, their wish will almost certainly be granted.

You have a pair of contrasting group booking options at Patterson's. The first, the basement dining room, is perfect if you want a 100% private event (your guests would even have their own entrance). Virtually identical to the upstairs restaurant, the private room sits 25 or stands roughly double for any event that merits swanky surroundings. Bring your own entertainment if you wish, or ask for the background music to be turned on. The second choice suits people who like to enjoy and contribute to the atmosphere of the restaurant from the vantage point of their own section at the sky-lit back of the restaurant. Whatever theoccasion, Patterson's will design a menu that matches your needs and budget, and serve it with a smile. Very open to suggestions, they'll even sourceingredients for you.
