Slap bang in the middle of Covent Garden, The Gardening Club (attached to the Rock Garden restaurant) is not a place for the faint-hearted. Soul, funk, party anthems, 80's dance classics- you name it, and it's played here through a no-holds-barred sound system. The club's air-conditioned vaulted space covers two distinctly-decored bars. The biggest has a stage and dance floor, fully set up with PA, disco and lighting rig. The VIP bar, meanwhile, accommodates 35 - 40 guests and can be hired exclusively for that special occasion. Although both The Gardening Club plays host to in-house run club nights seven nights a week (Wednesdays for example is Doctors & Nurses night where its free entry to all NHS staff (with NHS ID) or to anyone in doctors or nurses outfits), it is available for exclusive hire and would be an ideal location for a cocktail reception, book launch, presentation or party, for example. Watch out for the Happy Hour - it does exactly what is says on the tin.
