Set on a corner of the Covent Garden piazza, the best of Tuttons ample attributes is its watch-the-world-go-by position. Sitting at one of the large window tables or outside in the cobbled street area gives you an interrupted view of the hustle and bustle of one of London's most popular attractions. Despite its tourist-trap location, Tuttons is surprisingly relaxed, friendly and unfailingly offers an experienced, professional service. Local business crowds, theatre and opera goers alike regularly return for more of the same. Very child friendly atmosphere with the whole restaurant being non-smoking with the exception of the in house bar area. The British European menu is varied, with daily black-board specials to tempt your taste buds. Tuttons signature dish is a hearty combination of Cumberland sausages, bubble and squeak with red onion marmalade. If you don't eat red meat, try the pumpkin & sage risotto cakes with baby spinach and caramelized red onions, perhaps followed by the summer fruit terrine served with vanilla ice cream and another glass of the Pinot Grigot Grave del Friuli? Take your time deciding. There's a whole world out there waiting to be watched.

If you're inviting up to 50 friends to your party, hire one or both of the intimate gently-lit white-bricked cellar vaults where you'll be served by a friendly, dedicated waiter. If you'd rather not make use of the sound system, you're more than welcome to play your own CDs. Kids coming? A children's menu is available on request for both the vaults.
