Set in a part of town that has groovified around it, Gulshan Tandoori is that most welcome element of British life - a traditional Indian restaurant run by the same capable folk for a long run, in this case for more than twenty years. Gulshan Tandoori is friendly and welcoming, relaxed and pleasant and it's a perennial favourite with local business people and residents. It's been highly lauded in the press, too, so you should probably check it out yourselves. Bring a friend and try the deluxetandoori dish for two that includes chicken, lamb and king prawn as well as veg and naan, or the chicken tikka or the tandoori king prawn masala. There are biryanis and a good selection of veggie dishes.
