Bold and beautiful, The Berkeley Square Restaurant & Bar is an intimate glass-fronted restaurant just off the park where the nightingale famously sang. The clean, contemporary interior with its rich, aubergine velvet curtains, cocoa-coloured leather seats and mulberry carpets is already attracting the Bentley-driving locals. Just as exquisitely put together is the Modern French lunch and dinner menu which, with every dish, bears testament to Steven Black's time spent whipping up fantastic dishes in many Michelin starred restaurants. It's no wonder The Good Food Guide recognised them as being 'London's Best Newcomer 2003', and they have been awarded with three AA rosettes too. Sample if you will the signature starter of seared scallops and foie gras, with cepes, salsify and parsnip puree, and follow it with a steamed fillet of sea bass with braised fennel, baby leeks, oyster and chive veloute. To complement your meal is an extensive international wine list, chosen by sommelier Sylvain Raveleau - reading, never mind drinking from it sets the tastebuds tingling with excitement.


A credit card is required to reserve a table for parties of 8 or more, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. A fee of £10 per person will be charged for a cancellation within 24 hours or a no show
