Coconut Lagoon brings its award-winning cuisine to the Big Smoke. London has a few restaurants that specialise in the cuisine of one particular area of southern India, but never before have all four of these southern provinces, Goa, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, been brought together in one kitchen, and in such pleasant surroundings! This is different from more familiar northern Indian cuisine, and knowledgeable staff will guide you to the treasures of the menu. There are many offerings for vegetarians. Bring three friends and enjoy the Feast menus, if you can, but even on your ownsome you'll find the dishes delightful. Try starter of Hyderabad chicken drumsticks, marinated and cooked with cashew nuts, main courses like Nizam pepper chicken or Fennel flavoured lamb. And the surroundings are lovely, wood floors, vibrantly-coloured walls, comfy upholstered chairs, and soft lighting.
