A stone's throw from Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace, Fortnum and Mason is part and parcel of traditional Englishness and the St James's Restaurant is no exception. Original oil country scenes and seascapes adorn the walls. Tables are well lit and well spaced. The menu is British through and through and takes advantage of Fortnum's special suppliers.
