We all have grown to know and love what is a sublime eating experience at this Mayfair restaurant and brasserie - we are now pleased to offer Strictly, private dining at Hush. Three exclusive areas have been created on an additional level providing sumptuous, chic and stylish venues where you can host your own dinners, parties, events, gatherings even wedding receptions. Designed by Miguel Cancio Martins (of Buddha Bar fame in Paris) the Zanzibar, Kenya and Tangiers rooms are the ultimate in cool. A series of interconnecting rooms which can be booked separately for a more intimate occasion or used as one large space and as the names suggest, inspired by Africa. With a venue of this caliber expect to find private access to the rooms, private guest toilets and cloakroom, elevator, power points, microphone and PA system, ISDN internet access and even a display cabinet if required. The flexibility of this venue means your party can be as intimate as eight guests or a real show stopper of up to 150. All your entertainment needs have been thought of proving this an ideal location for any event from weddings to product launches and breakfast meetings to simply a party. Decadence is the thing when it comes to the dining at strictly - the 'menu sociale' promotes feast style eating rather than the trad starters, mains and puds. The constant flow of dishes might include delicacies such as toasted paprika almonds, seared scallops with sherry dressing, chemoula spiced sea bass with saffron yoghurt and fillet of beef with cherry and apple jus.
But we haven't finished yet - for those of you who are vinously inspired why not try La Cave. A completely separate area in the hush courtyard seating up to 12 guests for dinner this wine boutique specializes in rare and fine wines. As wine is key here, the French cuisine is specially selected to compliment the wine served by your very own butler and the food prepared by your own chef. The sommelier will be present on the evening too to help you along with your choices (all of which are sold at wine-shop price). As it’s completely self contained it’s perfect for private lunches or business meetings or a wine tasting or intimate dinner. Geoffrey Moore and Jamie Barber have certainly excelled themselves in providing private dining with flair - certainly nothing to keep hush about.
