Located in the Kingsway Hall Hotel, sophisticated decor, relaxed atmosphere and unobtrusive service make the Harlequin a welcome change. On the fringes of Covent Garden, the thoughtfully prepared menu offers such delights as Pan fried Barbarie duckling breast with fondant potato, roast salsify and baby leeks, while also catering for the simpler palette. A good selection of reasonably priced wines support the modern European dishes, regularly updated by the head chef who has cooked in some of London's top establishments. Go and sample their new a la carte menu.

A sophisticated venue, the Harlequin is particularly suited to business lunches/dinners, conferences, and christmas parties. If you hire the whole restaurant (150 seated, twice that for a reception), you're invited to arrange your own entertainment. Otherwise a DJ or other form of live music can be arranged. Alternatively, there are three smart private rooms, each named after British literary icons, and differing in size. The Tennyson & Hardy suite s the smallest, seating 60, while Milton & Keats fits a hundred. Full business facilities are yours if you need them. Expect an equally full range of modern menus.
