This holistic restaurant beaming with success and popular with the very trendy and fashionable diners. This is definitely somewhere to go and chill. There are large sofas that you can slump into with a cocktail and a very relaxed and relaxing atmosphere. Staff are charming and friendly and provide good but unobtrusive service. The best feature has to be the garden where you can eat al fresco in the summer and in a marque in winter, lit by fairy lights and candles.

What's Cooking??
Attentive staff explain the menu with passion. Choose from chilli fried squid with borlotti bean salad and harissa or tomato and goats cheese tart with red onion marmalade to start. Next go with lamb rump with honey glazed parsnips, or the pan-fried duck breast with ginger and garlic fried bok choi. Then finish with either the raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake or the rhubarb crumble.

Sometimes a restaurant just beams success, and Metro is one of those. At the back of the chilled dining room and bar is a sort of secret garden whose marquee provides the private dining space. It is magical. Lit by fairy lights and candles and with the soft far-from-the-madding-crowd greenery, the space is a delight for almost any kind of event. The atmosphere could not be more relaxing or convivial.
