Chef, John Sarginson, lists his passion as meeting with suppliers and discussing the produce and what makes British offerings so special. Well, he obviously takes their advice because his food is excellent - try slow roast belly pork with prunes, if this doesn't tickle your fancy go for good ol' fish and chips served with tartare sauce and watercress.
In summertime Butler's Wharf Chop House is the perfect place to lead your tired troops from the office for a group-bonding lunch exercise while basking in the sun along the Thames. In winter, it's a great backdrop forbusiness meetings-with-food. The reassuringly British fare will leteveryone know you're blue-blooded while the remarkable riverside setting will put everyone in a relaxed mood. As with all Conran restaurants, the suppliers are among the finest, and the preparation honours the quality of the ingredients. The decor is equally British bulldog, but with that modernConran twist.
