In typical Conran style, 1997 saw Terence Conran convert the famous Bluebird Garage. It now houses two restaurants, private dining rooms, a café, a bar and members bar. It's the two restaurants and private dining rooms that we are raving about today. The main restaurant is bright and airy and its steel girder and glass roof, crustacea altar and large windows overlooking the fashionable King's Road below make it an incredible place to have a meal. With the menu itself, the focus is on the provenance and seasonality of ingredients to create dishes representing British dining at its finest and most elegant. Produce used is from small British farms, ensuring that only the best ingredients make it onto your plate. Dishes include seared foie gras with pan-fried apples and calvados, roast rabbit with prosciutto, whole roasted sea-bass; as well as heavenly desserts.

The Bluebird Dining Rooms, once part of the private members club, were opened under the direction of Tom Conran in late 2004. They have been designed to capture the spirit and glamour of the 20's & 30's. The bar, within the restaurant on the first floor, serves a selection of classic cocktails including highballs, rickeys, slings and toddies. The menu is structured in a way as to accommodate the classics; game in season, puddings and pies, lobsters, oysters and crabs and a far reaching range of indigenous fish dishes. Bluebird Dining Rooms also boasts a private room with capacity for 84 seated. Overlooking the main restaurant, tucked away, is another private dining room. The room has a fantastic glass wall, but still offers total seclusion and privacy with the use of blinds. However, if you prefer, they can be opened so you can watch and enjoy the ‘theatre’ of the restaurant below. The main restaurant can be hired for those big, high calibre events


A credit card is required to reserve a table for parties of 6 diners and above, if there is availability - £60 will be taken from your card to secure your reservation.Cancellations. A fee of £20 per person will be charged for a cancellation within 12 hours or a no show
