Award-winning Rockwell is renowned for its fabulous cocktails and staggering collection of bourbons. But, following a stylish, arty refurbishment, the restaurant looks set to win equal acclaim. Pioneering an innovative menu of tapas-style dishes (as in ‘taster’ dishes), Rockwell’s kitchen offers everything from Oysters with mango-chilli viniagrette to Meatballs with duck bolognese sauce. Spoiled for choice? Try a bit of everything! Our delicous medly included juicy Garlic roasted shrimp stuffed with chorizo and sweet potato, served with a slow glazed pork belly (heavenly), and moreish Orzo pasta paella with lobster and seafood cooked in a saffron and vanilla lobster stock (stunning). A decadent list of puddings made an irresistible end to the feast. We chose an exquisite crème caramel with luxurious dulce de leche ice cream and a punchy Mojito foam shot. A glamorous, hip venue, ideal for a romantic meal or dinner with friends.

Ultra sleek and stylish, and slightly avant-garde, Rockwell is a fantastic choice for a party or get-together. Live music in the evenings lends a mellow atmosphere, while there’s always a glamorous, funky crowd (Rockwell has been used for endless fashion shoots and celebrity parties). As well as an unrivalled choice of bourbons, the bar also offers some unforgettable cocktails, such as the Chilli Jam Martini (made with premium vodka, strawberry jam & chilli). The restaurant serves tapas-style ‘taster’ dishes (see above), which are great for sharing! The perfect venue for a chic party or pre-theatre tipple.

New: The Roof Garden at Rockwell has to be seen to be believed. Six stories up (on the roof of the Trafalgar Hilton), it has breathtaking views across Trafalgar Square, Westminster and the London Eye, - and, aptly for this year’s celebrations, you’ll never get a better view of Nelson. The space itself is utterly Condé Nast traveler – all plush decking and designer white leather furniture. The stark colour scheme is punctuated only by citrus-coloured glass cubes, aglow with candles. It’s extremely peaceful up there (apart from the gasps that arrive with each new guest), and there's no better place to sip Champagne, chat and dream. Make sure you get in early as they do not take bookings for the area.
