One of the newer branches of this growing empire, this Jamies has great modern decor, a very lively bar and a blistering wine list. In fact, the wine list is one of the most interesting you'll find, with a few lovingly chosen bottles from each of the major and minor wine-producing countries and regions. Most cost less than £20. But Jamie's also features a fine modern global brasserie menu, featuring ingredients from small, local often organic producers. The ambience is relaxed and the service top-notch. You could go for the full monty, with starter of shrimp, lemongrass and chilli soup followed by spiced lamb with onion couscous, or opt for one of their great club sandwiches, or just share a huge plate of starters. Very popular with local media, advertising and music executives.
