Since its opening there has always been a certain buzz around this restaurant. We went recently and the buzz is certainly not hype. Cinnamon Club has it all: a superb setting, the Grade II listed Old Westminster Library, now beautifully updated, a remarkable head chef, Vivek Singh, formerly head chef at India's most exclusive hotel, an equally remarkable consultant chef, the Michelin-starred Eric Chavot, spices and ingredients flown in directly from India, and a very buzzy bar. The changing menu draws from all parts of India and features starters like king prawns in saffron almond sauce, shrimp pickle and pilau rice, and mains like lucknow style braised lamb shank with saffron and rose water. Wines have been carefully matched to the menu, with sixteen labels available by the glass. A unique addition to London's restaurant scene.

Book the Mezzanine in August for private dining and the minimum spend will be reduced! For all lunch bookings the minimum spend will be £750, normally £1000. For all dinner bookings the minimum spend will be £1000, normally £1500. Includes service charge. Max group size: 35

The Cinnamon Club's truly impressive private dining facilities are ideal for events ranging from product launches and parties to conferences and weddings. Your event can take place in the classically designed Private Dining room, adjacent to the main restaurant or on the overlooking Mezzanine level. These have a capacity of 60 and 30 seated respectively (90 and 50 standing). The modern Downstairs bar, which can hold up to 80 people, provides an ideal setting for pre-dinner drinks or a lively party with DJ's and cocktails. the Cinnamon Club is an invaluable venue for dinner, lunch and even breakfast events. If you really fancy a show stopping party why not hire the entire main restaurant for 150 or 450 guests respectively seated or standing.

A credit card is required to reserve a table for 5 people or more if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. A fee of £20 per person will be charged for a cancellation within 24 hours or a no show
