The Tuscan sun burns bright in the heart of Covent Garden, where Maggiore's takes all the vibrancy of the Mediterranean and lays it on your plate. The restaurant itself is decorated in the heartwarming colours of Tuscany and Provence. In winter a roaring log fire brings warmth to the bones, while in summer an apple blossom-starred courtyard, with fully opening glass roof, offers al fresco dining. Maggiore's is perfect for any occasion, from romantic dinners a deux to multi-generational Sunday lunches. The outstanding wine list has again been awarded the Wine Spectator 'Award of Excellence' for having one of the worlds finest wine lists, and we think you owe it to yourself to test a few of their 1,500 selection.

What's cooking? Mediterranean, using the freshest ingredients that render the most intensely divine flavours. There are starters like moules mariniere 'Maggiore's' featuring almonds and parsley, and ragout of hare with soft sage polenta and port sauce, main courses like slow-cooked belly of pork with carrot puree and glazed salsify, and braised fillet of turbot in red wine with fondue of leeks and Parisienne potatoes, as well as voluptuous puds like warm chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream, and roast William pear, pain perdu with caramel and ginger sauce. The seasonally changing cheese selection is beautifully kept and come with home-baked biscuits, walnut bread and fig chutney.

A credit card is required to reserve a table for groups of 6 or more, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of £10 per person.
Please note that early tables (5pm - 6.30) must be vacated after 1.5 hours, and tables from 7pm have a 2 hour turnaround.
